When you read the title you probably thought it was a mistake or a joke. Maybe you even believed that I was about to make a complete mockery of that establishment and the people the party there; however you were wrong. I’m slowly coming down off of that “greater than thou” cloud and I am becoming a more balanced person. For way too long I’ve isolated myself from my peers and doing things that I would really enjoy because I was feeling like I was too good to do certain things. Maybe it was the women or maybe it was my job title, either way something had me feeling like I was better than a whole bunch of people. I would judge hard! I’m off that!

Besides it wasn’t like an ordinary night anyway, it was Purp’s birthday and a couple other biddies asked me to come (nothing new). My favorite word was no until I saw “Yes Man” with Jim Carrey. You see the hand in the picture, I am the maestro of this symphony, you just had to be there in the moment to understand…

I’ve heard that I am intimidating, unapproachable, noble and I’ve even been called an elitist. Funny thing is whoever said that is right, well at least they were right. Tyler told me that when she saw me at the Goldmine fashion show I was acting like I thought I was better than everyone else there. (clears throat) That’s because I did feel that way! I’m at a fashion show filled with the flyest and the freshest of my generation and I’m the only one killing it?

(flashback)

Well I was the only one in my lane (bow tie, cashmere sweater, white pants, loafers) now look around you, everyone is on that. What did that teach me? The clothes don’t make the man. I’m off that!

The whole night P and I was saying how much fun it would be if Demetri & Squeaks showed up. We even tried contacted them both but our futile attempts failed  then just as we had given up all hope of either coming I looked up and saw Squeaks. 

Did I have fun? Hell yeah!

I was just thinking to myself, D was with me when I purchased the jacket. D purchased his own shortly after. The weekend that we were all in Philly both D & Juice tried on the jacket. I wonder who people think wore it better, you’d be surprised at my answer.
